Bob is regularly featured on Extra, NBC Open House, Mansions and Millionaires and HGTV’s Million Dollar Room, as a top Realtor in Los Angeles dealing with high-profile properties and clients and often called upon in print and television interviews for his expertise in worldwide luxury property buying trends.
He is a consummate negotiator who has lectured to real estate professionals and trained numerous agents on closing techniques, the psychology of buyers and sellers, and transactional problem solving.
Bob’s clients are diverse, ranging from entertainment personalities to foreign sellers and buyers from Asia, Canada, Latin America, India, Europe and the Middle East.
His worldwide listing inventory of trophy properties exceeds $3 Billion in 13 different countries. Because of the nature of his clientele, which includes celebrities, Fortune 500 executives and foreign sellers and buyers, Bob understands the importance of interacting with all the parties’ representatives.

Director of International Marketing
Michael Courtney is Director of International Marketing for Hurwitz James Company. Working with Bob Hurwitz, he helps create, coordinate, and implement global marketing strategies for select overseas estates represented by the company. Bilingual and world traveled, his ability to actualize creative marketing ideas and analyze and act on overseas estate property buying trends is a valuable asset to the company and its rapid expansion into the international luxury property marketplace. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a degree in International Marketing.
Jake Hurwitz has literally grown up around the real estate business and been party to a wide array of transactions, ranging from residential single family homes, to hundred million dollar plus luxury home developments both domestic and abroad.
Bi-lingual and a world traveler, he has been seasoned from a young age on what is required to make a successful deal and his unique perspective and outside the box thinking is a major asset to our marketing team and quickly resulted in his record setting success in multi-million dollar listings and sales in diverse locations from Southern California to foreign countries.
A graduate from UC Santa Cruz, Jake has developed an assemblage of qualities that are invaluable in the business realm. As a captain, MVP, and All-American of the nationally ranked volleyball team at Santa Cruz, Jake is an exceptional team player who understands the drivers of success both on an individual level, and as a collective unit. A world traveler, Jake is comfortable dealing with clients from all backgrounds and experience and is ecstatic to be bringing his team oriented attitude to the business field.
Violet has been selling real estate since 2005. Trained and mentored by Bob Hurwitz, she has successfully established a diverse portfolio ranging from first time buyers to multimillion dollar clients. Originally a San Diego native, Violet began her real estate career as loan officer, organizing and speaking at first-time home-buying seminars, helping numerous buyers achieve their American dream of owning their first home while guiding them through the entire process. Her love of people is what initially attracted Violet to real estate. She is driven to meet the needs of her clients with focus and care. With high standards and her client’s best interest in mind, she completes all her transactions in a professional and ethical way and keeps a consistent level of enthusiasm. Because real estate can be very challenging and stressful at times, Violet’s prefers to approach every situation with a “can do attitude” and optimism in order to find the best solution for her clients.
Mimi Frei has been selling real estate since 1992. She built her real estate career exclusively at Hurwitz James Company. Trained by Bob Hurwitz, she has successfully established a diverse portfolio ranging from first time buyers to multimillion dollar entertainment industry clients. Born and educated in Switzerland and fluent in five languages, Mimi has represented numerous European buyers in their purchases of estate properties in the United States. Her long experience with the high end residential market, combined with astute negotiating skills, has provided her with a long list of repeat buyers and ongoing referrals. With high standards and her client’s best interest in mind, she completes all her transactions in a professional and ethical way.
Melissa Endo is a California native and has been a Realtor since 2013. She has a Business Marketing degree and her determination, market knowledge, optimism and competitive spirit has awarded her top sales representative status multiple times. Besides an outstanding work ethic and single minded focus on the highest level of representation for her clients, she is a mother of two daughters and a dedicated humanitarian, actively helping many local charities such as CASA, San Fernando Valley Mission, ASPCA, and other organizations helping alleviate homelessness in Los Angeles.
Jane has has been a top producing agent for years, with broad experience marketing and selling everything from individual luxury homes and investment properties, to negotiating commercial leases. Her encyclopedic knowledge of on and off market inventory is a huge benefit both in representing buyers as well as properly pricing her listings for maximal economic benefit with minimum marketing time for her sellers. Her underlying passion is helping her clients accomplish their dreams and reach their goals. Thomas J Madden is originally from Chicago with a Finance & Art background. His early years were spent on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade where he learned to read market trends, communicate clearly with clients, and most importantly, stay grounded in high volume situations. His Art and Finance background along with his teamwork attitude as a Div.1 NCAA athlete has made him a natural to work with individuals within many professions to develop relationships and a network that is second to none and has developed consummate attention to detail when working on behalf of his real estate clientele. A combination of 20 years in luxury home design & construction, the ability to listen and relate on many levels, marketing expertise and astute negotiating skills guarantees elite representation for his clients.
Paige began her real estate career at the age of ten, developing and managing elaborate kid-built tree houses in the suburbs of Houston. She has been building her portfolio and pursuing her love of real estate in The Hamptons, Malibu, and the greater Los Angeles area ever since. Paige is a true southern social dynamo/debutante who, even after traveling the world, has “never met a stranger.” Although her formative years were spent in Texas, Paige left for the East Coast to study design. She is an honored graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design and an award-winning creative entrepreneur, designer, and producer, specializing in creating compelling products and content. Paige started at the top and never left, spending the early part of her career working with A-list celebrities and on-air talent as an Emmy-award winning IATSE costumer, wardrobe stylist, and now, as a producer. Paige has made a career out of designing, selling, and buying really nice things. In a word, she is a people person with great taste.
Paige joined the HJC team in 2016 and even before she had her business cards, Paige completed two local transactions and negotiated a multi-million dollar listing and 1031 property exchange in Southampton, New York. Paige is solution-driven and covets efficiency, taking great pride in top level negotiations skills and top level representation for her clients.
Kirstin is a Los Angeles native who started her career as a teenager in the family real estate business and went on to serve as executive assistant to several of the top agents in the country prior to establishing her own brand.
Licensed since 2007, she has achieved major success selling high end residential properties in a wide area from Malibu to Calabasas to West Hollywood to Manhattan Beach and beyond. Living for years overlooking the ocean in Marina Del Rey, she has an affinity for, and long history of marketing and selling homes, penthouses and luxury condominiums in the area and her knowledge of values and marketing strategies in the area is unequaled.
In addition to her people skills, she is incredibly tech savvy and directly developed a top ranking website with organic SEO strategies.
In her off time, she’s an avid paddler with the Marina Del Rey Outrigger canoe club and has even paddled to Catalina from Newport Beach in the Catalina US Crossing Championship.

Kimberly Green was born in Seoul, South Korea while her father served in the Air Force. As a military child she spent her youth growing up in various cities around the world including Austin, Texas, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the Yokota and Misawa Air Force Bases in Japan. This worldly experience at such a young age gives her an international flare, and a well-rounded understanding and connection with people from all walks of life.
A graduate from Indiana University she began the foundation for her sales career in combination with a zeal for the arts and travel, which led her to become an Art Auctioneer for Princess Cruise Lines. She traveled the globe learning about and selling high-end art from some of the most influential artists of the past century. Prior to beginning her real estate, Kimberly was an actress and entrepreneur, including launching her own barre workout, Barre Fit, a successful online fitness studio.

A Maine native, Will has lived a bi-coastal life from an early age, providing him a unique perspective on different markets. Will received his bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in management from the University of Maine. Digital Marketing Manager and Database Administrator
Sandeep Maurya is the Digital Marketing Manager and Database Administrator for Hurwitz James Company. With a diverse technical and marketing background encompassing website design and branding, online marketing, SEO and web analytics, Sandeep identifies and evaluates new digital technologies and uses Web analytics to optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media and display and search advertising. In addition he oversees global wide research into identifying ultra high net worth individuals for the company’s database and works directly with Bob Hurwitz in designing and implementing marketing campaigns over a wide variety of platforms.
Director of Development in France
Thibault Delacour is the Director Of Development in France for Hurwitz James Company. With a diverse business education background and degrees from universities in the United States and France, Thibault is the ideal representative to bring the Hurwitz James Company’s unique brand of marketing to the luxury French market. World traveled, and fluent in French, English and Spanish, his tenacity, work ethic and creative marketing ideas while assisting Bob Hurwitz on the sale of estates in French Polynesia made him the number one choice for the position. At ease working with the most affluent and sophisticated clients and with an encyclopedic knowledge of French luxury real estate, Thibault is in charge of representing and marketing the finest properties offered for sale in the country on behalf of the company.
Dean Ellison is the exclusive Canadian agent for the Hurwitz-James Company. He was personally selected by Bob Hurwitz after an exhaustive search and interview process as the absolute best representative to spearhead the company’s expansion into the luxury market in Canada. James is generally first contact on sourcing and analyzing overseas commercial properties, including hotels, resorts and luxury home developments and making the initial decision on whether the prospective property is a good fit for representation by the company. Besides interacting with owners and developers across the globe, he has created an ever growing network of leading real estate professionals throughout Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. He has a passion for flying and is a licensed private pilot. In his spare time he enjoys keeping fit, traveling the world and experiencing many different cultures.
Sukhjit Randhawa is the Consultant for Alternative Investments at Hurwitz James and sources out assets in all classes on a discreet basis using his extensive global network. Sukhjit is serial entrepreneur, having started software startups, real estate developments, acquisitions & divestitures in Canada, the US and in the Caribbean country of Belize. Sukhjit is currently involved in various areas within the Alternative Investment real estate sectors– hotels, condo developments, extended care facilities, hospitals, and golf course lifestyle opportunities with Greg Norman. As a principal, financier, and dealmaker, Sukhjit is also working with Carlson Rezidor in SE Asia. Sukhjit is very well networked with high net worth individuals, family offices, Investment Bankers, and Private Equity professionals in North America, Asia, Middle East and Europe.
Alex Ahlstrom is the exclusive agent in China for Hurwitz-James Company. Through his hard work and inner-drive Alex mastered spoken and written Mandarin in less than three years. His enthusiasm, intelligence, and unique experience and position as the only foreigner inside the most distinguished real estate development group in Beijing led him to the top of the list of applicants when Hurwitz-James initiated its expansion into the Chinese market. Originally from Texas, Alex has also lived in California and across China. Director of Development in Latin America and the Caribbean
With more than 17 years of experience working with top developers in Latin America, Vicky has sold and managed developments in excess of $480M. Over the last 11 years she was the commercial director for Ocean Reef Island in Panama City, Panama, where she led the creation and development of this one-of-a-kind property, a man-made island in the middle of Panama City. With her experience in consulting, selling and marketing real estate, Vicky is proactively involved in every stage of the process: the initial conception and design, the collaboration with top architects to create a unique portfolio and floor plans that actually sell, the creation and supervision of a complete marketing strategy, the management of legal and administrative issues, and much more.
